Memorial Plaques

Purchasing a Memorial Plaque at Beth Shalom, in the name of a loved one who has passed away, is a special mitzvah and a way to honor your loved one’s memory in a permanent way. 

Memorial Plaque is $360 if you are a Beth Shalom member
Memorial Plaque is $540 if you are a non-member

Each memorial plaque includes a personal inscription.

​A light next to your loved one’s plaque is lit each year on the week of the yahrzeit and four times each year for our Yizkor Memorial Services.  
Your loved one’s name is read at services on the Shabbat  preceding the yahrzeit, in perpetuity.                            

Tree of Life    

Mark a special occasion in your life or the life of a family member or friend with a leaf on our Tree of Life.  A leaf can be purchased for $108.00 – 6 times ḥai – and is ideal for recognizing a special birthday, wedding anniversary, birth, Bar or Bat Mitzvah, graduation, or marriage.
